The main reason for the Link Pro device not turning on is an insufficient battery charge. Before playing your first round, we recommend fully charging the Link Pro and the Charging case. The case will signify when the Link is fully charged when the LEDs on the case turn off. The LEDs will remain illuminated while the device is charging.
Troubleshooting steps to consider:
- Does the Link ‘snap’ into the case with a magnetic connection, or do the devices repel one another, or is there no magnetic connection?
- Was the charging case plugged in while attempting to charge the Link Pro? If so, please unplug the case while charging the Link Pro
- When placing the Link Pro into the charger, are you leaving the power switch ON? If so, please ensure the Link is turned off prior to placing it in the charging case.
- Where is the unit being stored while charging? If the unit gets too hot, Link Pro may stop charging once it reaches a certain temperature. Therefore, it is not recommended to keep the Link Pro charging in a hot car in between rounds.
If none of the above resolves the issue, please reach out to starter@arccosgolf.com.
