How do I continue an Apple Watch round on my iPhone? Follow
If during your round, your Apple Watch is about to run out of battery, it is important to transfer the data beforehand so you can continue to detect shots on your iPhone for the remainder of the round. Please follow the steps below to hand off the shot detection functionality from the Apple Watch to the iPhone.
Step 1
You will automatically receive a notification on your Apple Watch when the battery is low (~10%). This is when you should hand off the round to your iPhone to continue shot detection.
Step 2
Click the drop-down in the top left-hand corner of the iPhone screen and select "End Round" at the bottom.
Step 3
Selecting Hand Off Round to iPhone will send the Apple Watch app to Rangefinder mode. Please make sure to keep the Apple Watch screen illuminated (awake) during the Hand Off Round to Phone process.
This will allow you to continue recording your round using the Arccos Caddie app on the iPhone, while your Apple Watch will only display distances to the green.
When the round has been handed off, the iPhone will now be responsible for detecting the shots.
Note: You must keep your phone in your front pocket when using the iPhone for shot detection.
