Yes, round editing is crucial to getting accurate stats and for maximum improvement.
We recommend reviewing and editing either during your round (e.g. after holing out or on the next tee box of each hole) or for those of you who can remember every shot, post-round via the app or dashboard. We don’t recommend editing during the middle of a hole as that could affect your focus on the next shot.
Typical edits that are required:
- Adding penalties
- Adding gimme putts
- Missed tap-ins or softer putts
- Occasional missed full shot or chip
- Multiple shots with a 5-yard radius (e.g. two shots from the same bunker, one will be suppressed)
- First putt distance, and flag location
