When using the phone for shot detection, the phone must be kept in your LEAD pant pocket. Therefore, left pocket for right handed players and right pocket for left handed players. 

The Arccos sensors communicate with the your phone via a high pitch frequency. The phone must be kept in this location in order for the phone to hear and detect shots.
