Rangefinder Only Mode
Rangefinder Only mode allows a user to continue to receive live distances (front, middle & back of the green), "Plays Like" distances, and recommended club (non-tournament mode) while using your Android device for shot tracking.
If the watch is being used in Rangefinder Only mode, shots will be tracked by the Android phone which will need to remain in your front pocket.
Rangefinder Only mode's features are outlined below:
- Arccos Caddie Rangefinder: The Arccos Caddie app for Wear OS provides accurate distances while you’re on the golf course. Plays Like Distances is the ‘true’ distance for any shot and factors in wind speed, wind direction and elevation change. This feature is automatic, meaning there’s no interruption to your typical playing routine. Any time you need a green distance, simply look at your wrist and take dead aim.
- Club Recommendations: Based on your Smart Distance, the app will offer a customized club recommendation, if you’re within range of the green.
- Enhanced Shot Editing: If you’re playing with a Samsung Galaxy Watch or Android Wearable in Rangefinder Only mode you will be able to edit shots, including putts. On the Shot List simply click on any desired shot and you will be able to add/subtract penalties or delete that shot.
