Why and How to Edit Your Round for Accurate Stats
Editing your round is essential for getting accurate stats and tracking your progress as you work toward improvement.
When to Edit:
- During your round: We recommend editing right after holing out or when you’re at the next tee box for each hole.
- Post-round: If you can recall every shot, editing after the round via the app or dashboard is a great option.
Tip: Avoid editing in the middle of a hole as it can break your focus and affect your next shot.
Common Edits to Make:
- Adding penalties (e.g., out of bounds, water hazard)
- Adding gimme putts (short putts that are conceded)
- Missed tap-ins or softer putts (that you might have missed during play)
- Occasionally missed full shots or chips
- Multiple shots within a 5-yard radius (e.g., two shots from the same bunker—one will be suppressed)
- Marking putts off greens as chips (when a putt is taken from the fringe or off the green)
