Simulated Distances: View "What If" Scenarios for Weather and Elevation
With the new Simulated Distances feature, you can explore how weather conditions and elevation (based on your home course) affect your distance averages for each club. This allows for a clearer understanding of how far you hit each club under different conditions, helping with better decision-making and improved performance.
How to Access Simulated Distances:
- Go to the Club Distances screen.
- Select Simulated Distances.
Important Notes:
- iOS users: Celsius vs. Fahrenheit settings are based on your phone’s Language & Region settings, not the app’s units (meters/feet).
Simulation Features:
- Wind Simulation:
Simulated distances based on wind direction and speed show how wind impacts your club distances. Choose the wind direction and speed to see how it affects each club, either with the wind or against it. - Temperature Simulation:
Adjust the temperature slider to simulate how different temperatures (cold or warm) impact your club distances. Moving the slider left (cold) or right (warm) will show how many more or fewer clubs you’ll need in various conditions. - Elevation Simulation:
Simulated distances based on elevation (relative to your home course) will show how distance changes at different altitudes, whether above, at, or below sea level. Simply slide to the expected altitude, and see the impact on your club distances.
Shots Included:
- The Simulated Distances Shots Included option lets you select the number of shots you want to use to calculate your simulated club distances.
- If you've recently updated your clubs or made swing changes, this is a great way to see the impact.
- Simply choose the number of shots from the drop-down menu, or select a date range to instantly view the impact on your distances.
