Overview
If you see the message “Watch shot detection requires clubs with sensors. Start on your phone to sync here.” when trying to start a round with Apple Watch, this means a club is missing a sensor (or appears unpaired).
In most cases, this message appears because the app detects a club in your set that does not have an active sensor paired.
Why This Happens
Arccos requires all clubs in your bag to have either:
- A paired sensor, or
- Be properly configured for your tracking method
If a club is missing a sensor (or appears unpaired), the system can trigger this message.
How to Fix It
Follow these steps in the Arccos app:
- Go to the Clubs page
- Tap the wrench icon (top right)
- Select Manage Clubs
- Review your club list carefully
- Look for any club without a sensor icon next to it
Once you find it, you have two options:
- Delete the club if it’s not needed
- Pair a sensor to that club
After resolving the mismatched club, you should be able to start your round normally.
