The new Arccos app is a major upgrade — not just a visual refresh. The biggest shift is from diagnosis to prescription: where the classic app told you what happened, the new app tells you what to do about it. Here's how each area compares.
Navigation
The bottom navigation bar now has five dedicated tabs: Player, Clubs, Courses, Activity, and Start Round. Each area of your game has its own space instead of being buried in menus.
Player
The classic app showed basic scoring stats. The new Player page adds a full Strokes Gained breakdown (Driving, Approach, Short Game, Putting), a trend line on your scoring average, Scoring Distribution, Career Highlights, and a "Where to Focus" recommendation tied to your goal handicap that tells you exactly where to direct your practice.
Clubs
The Clubs page has been rebuilt with new analytics including Dispersion Graphs, Directional Bias (Driver vs. Iron), Distance Distribution charts, Compare Clubs, and a dedicated Putter stats section.
Courses
This tab is entirely new. It didn't exist in the classic app. It gives you course-specific stats, hole-by-hole breakdowns, AI-generated Course Insights, and a Courses Passport that tracks every course you've played.
Activity
The round detail view has significantly more depth. In addition to your scorecard and basic stats, you can now see an AI-generated Round Story, Skill Score, Club Performance breakdown, Strokes Gained by facet, PGA Tour Quality Shots, Round Arc, and Highlights — plus Round Stats, a Practice Focus Area with specific drills, and Round Potential benchmarks.
Start a Round
The round setup screen now includes a Pre-Round Warmup section (15, 30, or 60 minutes), and Smart Laser pairing has moved from Accessories into the Round Setup flow.
