How long should the battery last in the Smart Laser Rangefinder?

The Smart Laser uses a CR2 3V lithium battery, the same type used in most premium rangefinders.

Battery life varies based on usage, but under normal playing conditions, a single battery typically lasts 6–12 months, or many rounds of golf, before needing replacement.

Battery life may vary based on:

● Frequency of use

● Length of rounds

● Temperature conditions

● Amount of target locking during play

Battery Draining Faster Than Expected?

A firmware update (version 1.40 and later) resolved a known battery drain issue. To check your firmware version, go to: Settings → Diagnostics → Smart Laser Diagnostics. If you're not on the latest firmware, update the Arccos app — your device will typically prompt the update before your next round.

If you notice that your battery is draining significantly faster than expected, please replace it with a new CR2 3V lithium battery.

If the issue continues after replacing the battery and confirming you're on the latest firmware, contact starter@arccosgolf.com for assistance.
