If your Smart Laser won't turn on at all — even after a fresh battery — try this fix before requesting a replacement.
If your Smart Laser shows no display and doesn't respond to either button, even after installing a fresh CR2 battery, we've identified a fix that resolves this for many customers.
Try This First
1. Remove the battery compartment cap.
2. Take the battery out.
3. Using a small flathead screwdriver or similar tool, gently and carefully lift the two metal battery contacts inside the battery compartment slightly, as shown below. This helps ensure they make proper contact with the battery.
4. Reinstall a new CR2 battery, positive side facing out, and replace the battery cap.
5. Try powering the Smart Laser on again.
