No! The Arccos Caddie will automatically switch holes for you as long as the shot detection mode is properly set (Phone, Watch, Arccos Link) and the round is played in sequential order of the set starting hole. 

Note: If you skip a hole the Arccos Caddie will need you to manually swipe to the new hole that you will be playing and tap ‘Play Hole.’  

Also if a green and proceeding tee box are in close proximity (less than 40 yards apart) manually swiping to the next hole and pressing ‘Play Hole' may be necessary to avoid a hole switching issue.
