Smart Club Selection is a feature that automatically assigns a club to each detected shot during your round.
When Smart Club Selection is turned on, Arccos will tag clubs in real time based on your shot data and playing patterns. When the feature is turned off, shots will appear as blank (Distance only, in yards or meters), allowing you to manually select the club used for each shot.
Both options still provide full round tracking — the difference is whether clubs are assigned automatically or manually.
How Smart Club Selection Works
- Enabled: Clubs are automatically assigned as you play
- Disabled: Shots are recorded without a club and can be edited later
You can change club assignments at any time with edits during or post-round.
How to Turn Smart Club Detection On or Off
You can manage this setting in the Arccos app by navigating to:
Player → Settings → App Preferences → Smart Club Selection
Toggle the setting on or off based on your preference.
Which Option Should I Use?
- Use Smart Club Selection ON for a more hands-free experience
- Turn it OFF if you prefer to manually assign clubs or want maximum control
Both options work seamlessly with Arccos Air.
