How accurate is Arccos Air shot tracking?

Arccos Air uses a combination of motion detection, GPS, and course mapping to accurately detect shots and record their location on the course.

The system was developed using Arccos technology AI trained on more than 1.5 billion tracked shots, allowing it to recognize swing patterns and record shot events during play.

What the System Detects

When a shot is taken, Arccos Air records:

  • The motion of the swing
  • The location of the shot on the course
  • The distance to the next shot location

These data points allow the system to determine both the starting point and ending point of each shot.

Accuracy During Play

Arccos Air is designed to detect shots automatically while minimizing the need for interaction during the round.

For best results:

  • Carry the device in your lead-side front pocket
  • To clip on your belt or waistband purchase Arccos Air Clip Accessory Pack
  • Ensure the device is powered on before starting your round

Proper placement helps the system detect swing motion and record shots accurately.

Reviewing Your Round

During/After the round, golfers can quickly review the recorded shots in the Arccos app.

During this review you can:

  • Confirm shot locations
  • Adjust clubs if needed
  • Add or edit shots if necessary

This short review ensures your round data is complete and ready for performance analysis.
