While the Air device records when and where shots occur, the Arccos platform analyzes the characteristics of each shot to determine which club was most likely used.
Factors Used to Estimate Clubs
To suggest a club for each shot, the system evaluates several factors:
- Shot distance
- Your historical club distances
- Your typical shot patterns
- The location of the shot on the course
Using this information, the system assigns the club that best matches the characteristics of the shot.
Confirming Clubs After Your Round
Club suggestions appear in the round summary once your round is complete.
You can review the round and quickly confirm or adjust club assignments before saving the round.
As more rounds are played, the system learns your distance patterns and club suggestions become more accurate.
