SuperStroke Putter Sensor Compatibility & Adapter Guide

Counterbalance weighted grips with a metal cap at the end, which prevents a traditional Arccos screw-in putter sensor from being inserted directly would need the SuperStroke Putter Adapter accessory to fit the putter sensor to these grips.

About the Adapter

  • The adapter accommodates 80%+ of counterbalance grips on the market. A small number of counterbalance grips are slightly larger or smaller than standard and may not fit.
  • A 30-day return window applies: if the adapter is received and cannot be attached to your grip, it can be returned for a full refund.

Recommended Options

Option 1: Purchase the SuperStroke Adapter

This option is only compatible with SuperStroke CounterCore or Traxion putter grips.

Option 2: Pair the Putter Without Attaching the Sensor

You can pair the putter sensor without physically attaching it, then manually add putts using the +/- buttons in the app. Arccos also uses a machine learning algorithm that automatically tries to identify how many putts were taken on each hole, adjusting after each hole is completed.

Note: With this option, your putt locations won't be accurate since the sensor isn't detecting the shot directly. You may also occasionally experience hole-switching issues, since our hole-switching algorithm first checks whether you've stepped onto the green, then whether a putt was detected on the green. This is more likely to happen when the next tee box is close to the previous green.

Option 3: Modify the Sensor to Sit Flush

The most common option is to cut off the screw with a pair of scissors so the sensor can sit flush on the grip, then secure it in place using electrical tape.

Non-Counterweighted SuperStroke Grips

If you own a SuperStroke grip that does not have a counterweight, you can try screwing in a twist-in putter sensor to see if it fits.
