If Arccos Air is missing shots, follow the steps below in order. After each step, test again (or keep it in mind for your next round).
Step 1: Confirm you’re carrying Air in the recommended spot
- Place Arccos Air in your front pocket on your lead side:
- Right-handed golfers: left front pocket
- Left-handed golfers: right front pocket
- Keep it there for the entire round. Avoid these locations (they commonly cause missed shots):
- Back pocket
- Golf bag
- Cart cup holder
- Jacket pocket
Step 2: Check Arccos Air battery level in the app
- Open the Arccos app
- Go to Arccos Air Diagnostics
- Check the device battery level
If the battery is low, charge the device in the charging case before your next round.
Step 3: If you use Smart Sensors, confirm they’re paired and working
If you’re playing with Arccos Smart Sensors in addition to Air, confirm your sensors are paired and their batteries are active:
- Open the Arccos app
- Go to sensor diagnostics
- Confirm:
- All sensors are shown as paired
- None are showing a low/dead battery status
If a sensor battery is depleted, shots from that club may not register correctly.
Step 4: Fix the round after play (add any missed shots)
If shots were missed, you can correct the round in review:
- Open the round review in the Arccos app
- Tap the area on the hole where the shot occurred
- Select Add Shot
- Choose the correct club (if needed) and save
This keeps your round data accurate and ensures your insights reflect what actually happened.
