Why is my Arccos Air missing shots?

If Arccos Air is missing shots, follow the steps below in order. After each step, test again (or keep it in mind for your next round).

Step 1: Confirm you’re carrying Air in the recommended spot

  1. Place Arccos Air in your front pocket on your lead side:

    • Right-handed golfers: left front pocket
    • Left-handed golfers: right front pocket

  2. Keep it there for the entire round. Avoid these locations (they commonly cause missed shots):
    • Back pocket
    • Golf bag
    • Cart cup holder
    • Jacket pocket

Step 2: Check Arccos Air battery level in the app

  1. Open the Arccos app
  2. Go to Arccos Air Diagnostics
  3. Check the device battery level

If the battery is low, charge the device in the charging case before your next round.

Step 3: If you use Smart Sensors, confirm they’re paired and working

If you’re playing with Arccos Smart Sensors in addition to Air, confirm your sensors are paired and their batteries are active:

  1. Open the Arccos app
  2. Go to sensor diagnostics
  3. Confirm:
    • All sensors are shown as paired
    • None are showing a low/dead battery status

If a sensor battery is depleted, shots from that club may not register correctly.

Step 4: Fix the round after play (add any missed shots)

If shots were missed, you can correct the round in review:

  1. Open the round review in the Arccos app
  2. Tap the area on the hole where the shot occurred
  3. Select Add Shot
  4. Choose the correct club (if needed) and save

This keeps your round data accurate and ensures your insights reflect what actually happened.
