Pin placement is automatically updated when you shoot the flag with Smart Laser.
You do not need to:
- Walk to the hole
- Stand next to the flagstick
- Use your shot detection device to manually mark the location
Simply shoot the flag during your approach.
Default Pin Placement
If you do not shoot the flag, Arccos automatically places the pin in the center of the green for that hole.
Shooting the flag updates the pin location to the correct position for that round.
How to Check if the Pin Was Placed Correctly
After shooting the flag:
- Tap the image of the green in the top-right corner of the screen
- Confirm the hole location matches the actual position on the green
Confirm that the pin position matches the actual hole location for that day.
If the pin appears centered and you know it is not in the center, you may not have successfully shot the flag.
Simply re-shoot the flag to update the position.
